Yes — hosting free gatherings is 100% free. For paid ticketed gatherings, openCT charges just 3% per ticket, capped at ₹50 — plus standard payment-gateway charges (~2%). No upfront fees, no monthly subscriptions.
Settlements happen 14 days after each event, directly to the bank account you submitted during KYC. The 14-day window protects against disputes / refund claims.
PAN card + Aadhar (both sides) + a cancelled cheque or first page of your passbook. That's it. Your documents are encrypted and stored privately — admins can only view them with audit logging.
You don't need KYC for free gatherings. Anyone with an account can host a free meetup — published instantly on the platform. KYC is only needed if you want to sell paid tickets.
Yes. You can cancel any gathering up to 24h before it starts; attendees get auto-refunded via Cashfree. After 24h, contact our support team and we'll handle case-by-case.
No. Individual organizers are welcome. We need your PAN (individual or business) for tax compliance — that's it.
Yes. There's no limit on number of cities. Your KYC is valid platform-wide.
Yes. No hate, harassment, or illegal activity. Adult-only gatherings need an 18+ tag. Detailed guidelines are in our Terms. Repeat violations lead to a permanent ban.
