Refund and Cancellation Policy for Openct
At Openct, we aim to offer clarity and fairness in our refund and cancellation processes.
Please read this policy carefully, especially regarding non-refundable events.
1. Cancellation Policy
1.1 Expert Sessions
User-Initiated Cancellations:
- Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the scheduled session are eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session will not be refunded.
Cancellations by Openct or Experts:
- If Openct or the expert cancels the session, users will receive a full refund or may reschedule at no additional cost.
1.2 Event Bookings
Refundable Events:
User-Initiated Cancellations:
- Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the event will be refunded in full.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event will not be refunded.
- No refunds are provided for "no-shows."
Cancellations by Openct or Organizers:
- If an event is canceled by Openct or the event organizer, users will receive a full refund or may transfer their booking to another event.
Non-Refundable Events:
- Some events may be explicitly marked as non-refundable at the time of booking.
- No refunds or rescheduling will be offered, regardless of the reason for cancellation or inability to attend.
- Users are encouraged to carefully review the event terms before booking.
2. Refund Policy
2.1 Refund Eligibility
- Canceled expert sessions or refundable events as per the terms above.
- Payments made due to technical errors, duplicate transactions, or overcharges.
2.2 Non-Refundable Payments
- Payments for non-refundable events.
- Fees for completed expert sessions or attended events.
- Cancellations due to user non-compliance with event guidelines or terms.
2.3 Refund Processing
- Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days and credited to the original payment method.
3. Rescheduling and Changes
Expert Sessions:
- Rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance and are subject to expert availability.
Event Bookings:
- Refundable events may be rescheduled or transferred to another user if requested 48 hours in advance and approved by the event organizer.
- Non-refundable events are not eligible for changes.
4. Non-Refundable Events Terms
- Openct or the event organizer will clearly indicate events as non-refundable during the booking process.
- By proceeding with the booking, users acknowledge and accept the non-refundable nature of these events.
