Organizer Agreement

The terms for running gatherings on openCT — what we need from you, when you're paid, and what we expect. Written in plain English.

Last updated: September 2026

This agreement covers hosting on openCT. How we handle your identity documents, bank details and the attendee data you receive is set out in the Host Privacy Policy.

1. Starting out

2. Verification — only if you charge

To sell tickets we need a one-time verification: your PAN and a government photo ID. This is what allows us to pay your earnings out to you and to meet our own tax reporting obligations.

3. Your gatherings

4. Fees and charges

Fees and charges are those set out in the agreement you make with the openCT team. They are confirmed with you directly, and whatever applies to a paid gathering is shown to you when you create it, before you publish.

5. Getting paid

6. Refunds and cancellations

7. Attendee data

8. Ending things

9. Changes

We may update this agreement. If a change materially affects fees or payouts we will tell hosts before it takes effect. Continuing to host after that means you accept it.

10. Contact

Questions about hosting, fees or a settlement: support@openct.co. A person answers.
